Uses and application scope of ball mill

Ball mill is the key equipment for grinding after the material has been broken. it is widely used in cement, silicate products, new building materials, refractory material, chemical fertilizer, black and non-ferrous metal and glass ceramics production industry, it can grind all kinds of ores and other grindable materials in dry or wet way

Ball mill's working principle

The ball mill is the horizontal tube rotating device, outer edge of the gear drive, two chambers, lattice-type. With feeding device, the materials are feeded into the first milling chamber through the hollow shaft. there are ladder lining plate or corrugated lining plate in the chamber, the mill contains different specifications steel-balls, the rotating of cylinder can make centri fugal force to the ball for a certain height of falling, they have a severe impact and abrasive effect on the materials. after grinding in the first chamber, it will enter into the second chamber through single-layer partition plate, inner chamber is lined with plane liner which has steel balls for further materials' grinding. Powder is discharged through the discharging grate to finish grinding operation.

Ball mill's structure features

This ball mill consists of feeding and discharging turning, transmission parts ( reducer, gear motor, motor, electronic control ), etc. hollow shaft adopts steel castings and inner liner can be replaced, gyrating big gear adopts casting roll teeth processing, the cylinder body is lined with wear-resisting lining plate, it has good abrasion resistance, smooth operation and woking reliable
